Split DNS Configuration Update for NetCloud Exchange Aug 4, 2026 23:00 - Aug 5, 2026 00:00 CEST

Split DNS Configuration​​ – Modified split DNS configuration to reduce conflicts with user-specified split DNS domains and servers.

This change moves the required NetCloud Exchange split DNS domains and servers from the default lists to internal lists, reducing the chance of these domains and servers being accidentally overridden by individual device configuration. It also allows specifying split DNS configuration in NetCloud Manager Groups, preventing them from being overridden by NetCloud Exchange configuration. Specified NetCloud Exchange split DNS domains and servers are no longer visible when editing an individual router's configuration in NetCloud Manager.

While the router’s DNS service restarts and applies the update, DNS queries can fail for 2-3 seconds. Tunnels and non-DNS traffic are unaffected.
